Description :	Sujet : saint Louis et Robert d'Artois, vêtus d'une simple tunique, marchant nu pieds et accompagnés de leurs chevaliers, portant le reliquaire de la Sainte Couronne d'Epines. Ils sont accueillis à Sens par Gauthier Cornut archevêque de Sens (août 1239).

Historique :	Bernard Gaillot (1780-1847). 1824 : présentation du tableau au Salon. 1825 : attribution du tableau à la métropole de Sens, placé au côté sud de la cathédrale. 1873 : placé dans la chapelle du Sacré Coeur de la cathédrale. Jusqu'en 1939 : mur nord de la salle synodale. 1939 : déposé dans les combles de la tour de plomb. Mars 1984 : tableau retrouvé dans les caves du nouvel archevêché sur un casier à bouteilles.
