Historique :	Tableau attribué à frère André (1662-1753). Depuis 1793 à la cathédrale d'Auxerre. La représentation de saint François de Sales semble être un portrait-type que l'on retrouve dans de nombreux tableaux, comme celui de Saint-Thibault de Joigny. A noter que Charles Joseph Natoire a peint un sujet identique en 1760 pour la cathédrale de Nîmes.
