Précision_sur la representation :	Louis XIII, plus âgé que sur les autres tapisseries, le pied gauche à l'étrier, la main sur le pommeau, s'apprête à enfourcher son cheval. Il est richement vêtu. Son cheval, de dos, est maintenu par un lad. A l'arrière plan il y a un arbre à droite. La bordure est ornée d'éléments de cavalerie ou de sellerie, entourés de guirlandes ainsi que des volutes, un mouton, un centaure, des fleurs, des fruits, une femme aux seins nus.
